I've had it since new
In its day it was the nuts - anything S-Works to me back then was to be lusted over

Now its VERY retro ... v-brakes !!
Still faultless, however lots of love and care goes in to it

Retro is cool so you're ok.
Keep it long enough and it will be there with a Raleigh chopper.

@PukkaT6 Your going to more for your money with a hartail and as said before there just as much fun. They even do them with plus size tyres to give you a bit more cushion and grip .

@MEZ50 ...... just as a cautionary note. I think stems of that length are now in breach of Health & Safety laws on both Forestry Commission land and at Bikeparks.

Some thing I built a long time ago. Still fun to ride on the downs and a reminder of the bikes we used to ride.

My first MTB in the late 90's was a similar Kona with rigid front forks. Not sure how I'd get on with one today

@Tellmewhatsnew I think it must of 1998 when I built this one from a warrenty frame.

You are not wrong it is shock when I ride this bike of road. Especially after riding a full suspension.
