I’ve also gone to the darkside and bought this Orbea Wild a few weeks ago.
Absolutely loving it although I did manage to snap the rear derailleur last Friday in the Peak District. Only the 5th ride. A little bit of me died inside when it happened.
Oh, and the 5 mile push back to the van just made it even more fun.

Done that before halfway around Ladybower! chain breaker and quick link always with me now as you can single speed an ebike nearly anywhere. Was it an expensive AXS one? Nice bike BTW

I did single speed it, but was struggling to stop it constantly upshifting.
It was just an XT fortunately.
I nearly bought a Mondraker but the wireless AXS put me off-over £400 for a new mech.

Carry some cable ties with you too, I’ve managed to cable tie the derailleur back on well enough to get home

I always have them. But instead of breaking the mech hanger it snapped the casting of the derailleur across its narrowest part.

It’s an Orbea Urrun hard tail in XL.
Nice. Quite a decent size battery in such a slim downtube. With that slightly less powerful motor I bet you'll get a great range.
I'm loving my Wild, but it's back at the shop for a suspected loose connection as it keeps turning off on the rough stuff.
