Should be fun, considering one to replace my 1290 Adv R.
Thanks, I do miss it. But as I said got off at the right time. Spent some of the money on an MX5 which was a blast with the roof down
some nice rides there. I’m afraid I don’t quite have anything as lavish but I really enjoy racing my lambretta. I use it in the British championship BSSO. All though I have sat out this year.
It’s 205cc group 4 and geared differently from circuit to circuit. It has just about topped out at 100mph at the back straight At snetterton through the speed trap.
It’s also been used in a 6 hr endurance race which we finished 1st in class. BSEC club.

I get my R nine T tomorrow. Can't wait, it's been months since I've had a new bike.

Yeah yeah. I have had all that coming from a family of bikers. My father had a proper bad turn when I brought my 1st lambretta home.
In chronological order.
Started with the SV650.
Chopped that in for the Daytona, done a few track days on the old girl and then on a trip to Abergavenny, my ability outweighed my talent and I wrote her off, close to writing myself off too.
Back in the saddle with the SV1000, riding position was murder on my injury ravaged body (rugby player for 25 years)
Needed a more sedate riding position so the KR Z750 was added, kept that for a few years then went full bore with the Z1000, absolutely nut job of a bike, spent more time hanging over the handlebars to try stopping the front end from coming up.
Currently bike less
