Show us your 20’s

Hi there,

I have a T32,SWB, kombi. Van is lowered by approx 40mm (wheel centre to arch is approx 420mm on all corners with my 215/60 R17 oem setup.)

I’m going through the motions on which wheels and tyres to get and I’m aware I’ll need to get correct load rating, etc, for the T32 van. Using the 20” Navis luxe as an example, which is 9J ET42, my question is really - with this wheels, what tyre size would the forum suggest for all round looks, comfort and most importantly no rubbing? Starting point in my head is 275/40 R20 (106)

Thanks

Hi I’ve never used 275/40 but I’ve heard from others on here’s they do rub.
I run 10” all round about 90mm dropped et45 fronts with 255/35 rears are et38 275/35/20’s. I’ve ran 245/45/20’s on 8.5 same drop and they rubbed on full lock. I just never used to use full lock.
Harsh ride at the front.

When I bought my van, it was already on Eibach springs (Raceline I think they were called) and 20 x 9J, ET45 275/40 R20.
The tyres rubbed on full lock. There is even an MOT advisory for tyres rubbing on full lock.

I am now on the CRS H&R/Koni hybrid kit and have 2 sets of wheels - both the same spec as above but now on 245/45 R20 103 (which is load rated for a T32).
They don't rub.
