Show us your 17s

Just switched BFG ATs (245/65/17) for cross climate 2’s the same size.
Anyone tried to get a 245 in the spare wheel holder ?

Finally got my tomahawk Katos, after ordering them in august last year and being messed around by a shoddy outfit. Got the credit card company involved and got a refund through them.. re ordered elsewhere last week, and they arrived yesterday.

Decided to try a different tyre than the usual BFG, I’ve had those before and whilst fine, i wanted something else.
So I went with some Falken Wildpeak at3 in 245/65/17. Must say.. I think they look awesome!

Van is on standard suspension, so they fill out the arches Nicely.

Sorry to quote something from 2 years ago.... but.... did you have any issues with scrubbing going for the 245's?

Nice! I’ve got a spare set of DPs I thought of doing in black. I think they’re just not scruffy enough yet to get refinished.
My van would have come with these, had previous owner not have fitted the Sportline’s.

I hadn’t appreciated how nice they are until I saw this combo. I have since noticed more and more vans with the standard silver and now I really really like them as per factory too.

You won’t be disappointed if you do get them done, but no rush if they’re just spare.

Anyone tried the Geolandar cv4s yet?

Sounds ideal (for me), just an affordable decent brand all seasons tire with (mild) AT look. But don't see many around...

Am currently on 255 55 18 et48 x5 wheels, forbidden to post here of course ;) Stock suspension caravelle.

Would prefer to go a little smaller even, 235 60 17 is ideal i think. Or 225 65 17. But load ratings...

Anyways...curious about experiences with the cv4s!

I run Navis Mac’s with Cooper ATT 225/60/17 and they’re bob on for Speedo.

So that’s the size I’d go for if you’re looking for 17” alloys. I’ve not seen the geolanders - will check them out

My 235/65/17 Wildpeak’s measure 72mph on Waze when Speedo is at 70mph. No complaints there.

Not sure what you were getting at with load ratings OP?

Mine are 108 but more comfy than my 103 Toyo’s were on 255/45/18’s.

Well it's just that after running 255 55 18 for a few years now, I might prefer to go a little smaller now. Some 235 65 r17 look really good (often lowered) but others are a bit too bulgy for my likings. I might be getting old...

Prefer a bit more standard look, but a little extra side wall still

This really looks good Imo.

And this one as well

This is 225 65r17 with 17x8 et40. Also not bad

No that's very nice actually! Decent ET and solid tire look. And really like equal arch gap around the tire, by lowering. But can't (or don't want to) lower mine

Mine came with these fitted. It is probably just about the right height now. Maybe a smudge to high at the rear, but then it’s a T32 so that’s to be expected when just fitting lowered springs I guess.
