Hi is anybody running 235/65/17 at tyres with lowered suspension? I’m looking at changing my set up but have 50 mm lowering springs on atm I could do with swapping the wheels and tyres first as I need new tyres on My current wheels and would rather just do the swap to swampers now and then get the lift kit if possible anybody done this or is it definitely not going to work ?
Thanks

I’ve no experience of A/T tyres on my camper but if you look at the ‘similar threads’ space below you will see at least one thread on wheel/tyre sizes and lowering and within that thread are links to others I believe.
Failing that play around with the search function- I know this topic has been discussed many times so am sure you will find what you need.

Appreciate the comment thanks. Starlight blue really pops in the sun. So what wheels you going for ?

I think I going for kmc heist with falken wildpeak tyres from vwt5upgrades I did a google gemini makeup on my van

Looking good, the Wildpeaks are an excellent tyre. I have no complaints.

Thanks 👍🏻 I am led to believe the wild peaks are good all rounders so thought I’d give them ago was going to go for general grabbers but people say the wild peaks are better

Cant comment on the Grabbers. I can only say the Wildpeaks are decent in the wet or dry, great in snow. And I dont find them noisy.

Mines running 235/40/ZR20’s and lowered. It’s how I bought it. Looks great but ride’s, err.. firm. Fabulous on a billiard table smooth road and holds an impressively firm line (for a van). But hit a pothole or speed bump and fek me, it rattles yer teeth a bit…

Was going to go for the 20” but thought better of it lol

I run 235/65/17 Wildpeak’s on my Black Davenport’s. Mine is on Sportline springs on standard T32 shocks, so technically 30mm drop but measures more like 40mm.

Mine did have a minor rub on extreme full lock when turning on an incline. I put it down to the higher offset of these wheels compared to the aftermarket options. Added 21mm and 25mm spacers and no more rub from the front.

I reckon I could get away with a further 20mm drop easily without further issue.
