SC54 keeps popping

Hi guys,

My aux heater display has been black for a couple of months now. Today i checked the fuses, and found SC54 to be popped (7,5amp). Replaced it, display woke up again. But as soon as i started the aux heater, it popped again. Tried to put a 10a, but that also popped right away.

Any suggestions?

Did it work previously?

Is it mounted underneath the vehicle?

Water ingress?. Corrosion?

Fyi.... It's a very bad idea to put a fuse in a circuit higher than it's rated for. (Ie 10A in 7.5A )

Got any pics?

Have you checked the fuse card in the download section to see what else is supplied by that fuse.

Factory fit or aftermarket fit.?

SC54 feeds overhead control panel, remote control receiver and circulation pump V55 in/near by Webasto.
Note: the above is for vans build Nov-2017 onwards - before that the Webasto was powered from second battery (when installed) - shouldn't be relevant here.

Factory fitted. I think it maybe the circulation pump (V55). Anybody know if that’s known to fail?
