Can you wait until SpringFest Jon? I'm convinced your Fairy charm helped us out on the way back from Skye! They're literally a few quid on Amazon although I think myself and @Drive Wayne might have a couple of bars spare!

You can find an earthing point in the same location under the drivers seat.Thanks. I bought a Blue Sea MRBF fuse, I’m now thinking there won’t be enough space to fit that. Damn. Regarding the stud, does it all have to come off, or can it be shortened and still used.
Thinking about it I bet there isn’t room to put cables to the stud. Need to find another place for the chassis connection.

I used the seat base bolt, with the paint ground off.You can find an earthing point in the same location under the drivers seat.
Will bear that in mind. Can you wait until SpringFest Jon? I'm convinced your Fairy charm helped us out on the way back from Skye!
Thanks. Lots to decide between.I used the seat base bolt, with the paint ground off.
Or you can drill and nut and bolt to the seat base.
Or you can drill and rivnut to the B pillar.
Or you can drop through the floor grommet and drill and bolt into the lower chassis rail.
Or you can go a bit further back and drill and bolt, in the framework behind the first panel in the back just behind the d pillar at a low level.
Or you could just drill the floor and nut and bolt there, but that will mean getting up under all the trim panels off your tank or exhaust etc etc so that's a pain.
...
Because my new inverter cables are so fat and beefy...
I think I will be drilling and nut & bolt (with serrated washers) to the closest inner piece of chassis framework I can so that will most likely be behind the panel, that is behind the B pillar so basically right next to the inverter. Assuming I do place it there.
My main battery Meg chassis connection will be the seatbase bolts.... Again sand it down and make clean for a good connection..... Or I will take the feed to the base of the B pillar and drill and nut and bolt and no connection onto fresh body work.

I used a 70mm2 for the POS cable.Del, can I just ask about cable size that you used to connect both batteries in parallel under the twin seats please.
How did you run the cables?
I am going to be doing similar but only with 100ah lifepo under each seat (as thats all I have), just unsure on the cable layout.
Thanks Adam
More info....I used a 70mm2 for the POS cable.
I used a 70mm2 for the NEG cable direct down to the seat base bolt ... And sanded away all the paint from the four corners.
Because the 70mm2 cable was so fat, and the driver's seat base already so congested I decided to run the POS direct to the Inverter as it could take twin 90mm2.(Via a fuse)........you can also go along the carpet under the join between the front and rear carpet.
But for you....
You can go between the seat base under the carpet., I used a 20mm plastic copex as protection for the cable.

Many thanksI used a 70mm2 for the POS cable.

my batterys are all on 24/7Do your batteries turn on when your engine is on with the DC-DC connected? I normally leave my battery off but since installing a DC-DC every time i turn on the engine it automatically turns on the roamer as its receiving charge and turns the fridge on!
If its powered off using the button on the case then applying a charge to the terminals will wake it up. If you want your system to stay off, you need to externally isolate the battery (to be fair you should have a battery isolation switch and a solar isolator anyway).Do your batteries turn on when your engine is on with the DC-DC connected?
