Retrofit heater rear window and wiper

Hi all,

Apologies if this has already been covered but I have searched the forum and cannot find the information I am looking for.

I am about to convert a 2013 T5 from barn doors to tailgate. The tailgate is from a sportline and has a heated window and wiper I would like to use. I understand that the wires will not already be in my loom and will need adding. I have the correct heater control and wiper stalk.

I am looking for the following information,
What size cable for heater rear screen?
(Looks like only two wires are needed)
What size cable for rear wiper?
(Looks like three wires)
Any wiring diagrams and part numbers for terminals would be appreciated.
What coding will be needed?

If anyone is able to share a previous post then I would be happy to try and find the information myself but I am not able to find a previous thread covering this.

What size cable for heater rear screen?

OEM wiring is 2.5 mm² for the heater element.
Chapter/No. 76 or 198 in wiring diagram.

What size cable for rear wiper?
(Looks like three wires)

OEM wiring is 1.0 mm² - 3 wires + ground 1.5 mm²
Chapter/No. 135, 144, 191

Any wiring diagrams and part numbers for terminals would be appreciated.

Yes... some coding is needed... probably similar to T6.... so we can work it out.
