Hi there,
The two tabs (marked in red) appear to be the two bits I need to remove to allow the wash/wipe stalk to push forwards , in order to operate the rear window wiper and washer.
Looking at the electrical contacts on the back of the switch, it seems that the wiring and contact tabs are already built in to the switch, to cope with the rear washer and wiper, it's just the stalk that won't move forwards to operate them.
Can you confirm this?
The van is a 2021 Highline, transporter conversion to a camper. The rear window smashed and was replaced by one with a heating element and a hole for a wiper. It seemed a waste not to utilise them both!
Thanks,
J
