Repositioning electric modules under drivers seat.

Hi

Just started on the conversion project - first task to swap the single seat in the front for a double on a kirivans swivel base.
Single seat out no problem.
First problem I noticed - not enough bolts for the new double seat - but think I've got that sorted.
Next problem (sorry challenge!) - hiding all the electrics away so the base plate can fit flush against the floor.

Would have been easy enough if it was just the standard electrics however just discovered that is were they had also mounted the towbar electrics. Unfortunately it doesn't quite stretch to fit under the drivers seat - that was the plan as just can't seem to find an area anywhere else big enough to store the Westfalia Junction Box (not the smallest).

So question for anyone electrically minded - is it possible to get an extension lead to lengthen the ends of the cables? A couple of Male/Female adapters and I could probably do it - but after a quick unsuccessful search on google - hoping someone might have an idea.

Thanks

Hi guys,
How do you remove the module in the picture. Cannot seem to see a screw or clip that will take it out. Has circuit board inside so want to make sure do correctly to position leisure battery.

I’ve posted a picture of the bracket. It hooks in at the top and pushes in to the clips at the bottom so carefully push the bottom clips down to release it. Alan

It just unclips as mentioned above.

It's been a while since I removed the bracket. There are 2 screws in the bottom that require the handbrake/seat base to be partially removed.

Think it's just the four bolts/nuts at each corner. Then lift the base high enough to unscrew the bracket. There must be a few people that have removed the driver side seat base that can help with the removal process.

Some of the plastic mountings can be removed, the coupling points (coloured plugs at top right of your pic) can all be unplugged, removing form the black plastic mounting strip, then reconnected and tucked partially or totally under the flooring (making sure none of it is crushed by your equipment).
