Renogy Solar Panel Polarity?

Hi all,

The time has come to fit my solar, however I have a quick question if someone can help me work out the polarity of a Renogy Flexible 100w monocrystalline panel solar leads (MC4 connectors). Unfortunately download spec sheet doesn't shed any light, and without a multi-meter to hand Id check in with the knowledge of the forum.

From their other products it looks like it could be the female MC4 (?) however if anyone knows that would be great.

Looks like the “male” connector on this. From memory I think the connector is identified with a + and possibly the cables have ID also?

MC4 pv connectors come on the panels.

Then you follow the male, female, male, female all the way to the controller.

You need to use a multimeter to confirm the polarity .... Connecting up wrong could damage kit.
