Re-Purposing Rear Barn Door Heater Circuit's

Ok I was hoping to re-use /re-purpose my 2018 T6's rear heater circuits as manually operated reversing lights and or work lights, did a similar thing in an Iveco Daily years ago.

I have found there seems be a fluctuating current when engine running, I added a resistor (10w, 1 ohm) wondering if it just needed a load to stabilise bit I still have a bleeding strobe on one of the installed lights
any suggestions would be welcomed

I also wondered how difficult it would be to reconfigure so that the circuit was able to be used when motor isn't running (currently swings is on active and latching when motor is running)

I imagine what your seeing is the LEDs absorbing the canbus voltage and flickering
Not sure you can disable the monitoring on that like you can on lighting (no option on VCDS) so cant think of an easy fix without some wire twiddling ?
