Pulling to right after gearbox removed. (Hopefully solved, or not...)

I'd have guessed at sub frame requiring proper alignment , but it seems I'd be wrong.

Front damper?

The subframe have been adjusted several times without results.
I think strongly that the steering rack spool valve have been damaged in the workshop when they did the dsg and flywheel repair.
The steering wanted so strongly 5-10 degrees to the right all the time, even when slowly driving on a even surface like a workshop floor.
