Is there a known problem in obtaining spare key for T6. I ordered through a VW garage and have been waiting over 2 months,, I had to supply the vehicle log book and my driving licence, both were sent to VW (since returned - they would not accept copies) .beginning to wonder if the keywillever arrive. I was advised not to obtain keys from non VW key suppliers as they need coding to the vehicle.anyone else having similar problems?

I have ordered a few keys from VW and just had to give the VIN number of the van and the key arrives a week later, the key comes precut so fits the key barrels and just needs the fob programming so the buttons work (can be done with VCDS) and the immobiliser needs programming so the key can start the van (needs specialist kit)
Personally unless you need a particular rare key, like elec side doors, i would just go to a local mobile locksmith they will come to you and can cut and program a key on the spot and normally costs around £150 mark +/-
