Pop top mesh repair

Morning all.
presently off grid on a CL and noticed two small cuts in the pop top mesh on one side.
ideas of how to repair so it doesn’t worsen?
Also so it doesn’t look an eye sore.
I can’t think how this would have happened.
its about a cm in length.

Try fishing line….darn it like you would a sock….as the line is clear shouldn’t be too bad to look at …

Loctite 406 superglue, use a pin head to apply glue to one end at a time and a couple of steady hands.
If you think you can’t position it accurately put backing tape on before glueing, obviously you will then need to scrape off the tape where it stuck, best use clear tape.

Hi did you ever manage to get your rip repaired / replaced?

I attempted a repair with very fine fishing line to stop the rip getting bigger.
It was tricky and not perfect but it has held.
I realised it was the pop top Rainbow Screens cover that cause the damage with the buckles.
I am a lot more careful if I put the pop top Screen up in the winter now.
