I’ve just bought a 2m telescopic ladder from Amazon. Works great with a dual passenger swivel and takes up less space than others. I also use it to reach the roof when I’m washing it
I have reached the age where a ladder is required, so I splashed out £4.50 and made my own. A rake handle, bits of a sideboard, a coat hook and a piece of cheap timber from Wickes cut in half lengthwise. Yellow paint was £1 in Homebase. Not my preferred colour but at least I can see the ladder at night. Does the job very effectively, so was worth splashing out all that cash!
@Loz we’re just looking at ladder options and reading this old thread. Does this ladder just lean against the pop top opening or does it have clips to secure it? We have a Skyline Aurora roof on a T6 Kombi conversion rather than a Cali. I’m wondering if this would/could slip whilst climbing up/down in the night when we’re not at our sharpest? Also, we typically have the passenger single seat swivelled and we have arm rests on the captains seats. Does the ladder fit comfortably and usable in this configuration? Thanks.
