It’s a bit fuller than when I went a couple months ago.
We've had a lot of rain this past week or two, it may have helped fill it up!
We’ve still got a hosepipe ban in Yorkshire. You couldn’t make it up.
The hosepipe ban is a testament to YW's appalling record on leakages and their pratice of raising cash by selling water to neighbouring water authorities - it's got bugger-all to with what has to be the wettest drought on record.
I also think it’s a very easy way of keeping costs down by reducing the amount of water treatment they have to do and the amount of waste water they have to process.
Anyway, I’ve been using my hosepipe since the ban and I’ll be jetwashing the van tomorrow.

We just miss out 200 miles South! I did get excited a few months ago when we did see it!
Could you actually see that with the naked eye as here in Northampton it usually looks like the really dull glow from a distant towns street lighting and barely any brighter from the phone... I'd love to see that sort of display.
Judging from the long wiggly stars I would say thats a longish exposure hand held shot. SO not quite as it looks to the naked eye.
You could see shafts of light, like search beams, appearing and disappearing, with the naked eye. We are blessed with very dark skies here with usually only a faint glow from Berwick metropolis.
