Everything has sprung to life, I couldn't understand why the solar panel didnt improve battery performance ( which does need replaced)

I also have a victron trickle charger installed that the connect app wont pick up. I plugged it into EHU to see if it would show up then but no change, no lights whatsoever

Top left in pic, Victron Smart IP65 Charger.
After the solar charger reset switch Im reluctant to say its not working.

But no lights and not showing up on victron connect. I have tried since the reset. I lack the basic knowledge of what it actually does i.e
I know its a battery charger but in what situation I.e. on EHU.
Assuming the starter battery charges when driving and the solar now charges when not driving?

the top left, is a IP65 blue smart charger. - for the LB id assume.

its a mains charger, so will only come on when connected to mains EHU.

you will then see it on the Victron Conect APP when it lights up.

the MPPT will charge the LB when its sunny.

cant see a engine charger there. . . maybe you have a SCR?

Starter battery. The LB is just over 3 years old and for the first 6 months I kept the fridge on.

After reading up on batteries I probably
should have gone with lithium, but hope to get more use from the current one before it needs replaced.

Thats primarily why I had the solar panel installed, to keep LB topped up. The old set up ( pre solar) had a monitor on the LB.
I definitely would like to add one to the current set up.

Right, that black box is the SCR / VSR.

That will charge your LB when the engine is running.

You may need to have the blowers on #2 to help the charge.

In an ideal world you'll upgrade that to a dc-dc charger at some point.

I was told that when I upgrade to a lithium LB that would be advisable. Is there any brand you would recommend.

Do you monitor your LB any way other than the victron connect app?

561w is the most so far I have seen on my campervan back in June. 400w is not uncommon and pulled in over 3kw in a day if I have discharged the battery enough.

It's a Longi X6 535w panel from city plumbing. At the time I got.it i paid £70 including next day delivery.
