T6.1 Sportline on SoLow Coilovers - Bumper clearance?

I’ve had a good read through all @Solow Suspension threads hoping to answer my question, but no such luck unfortunately.

Has anybody fitted SoLow coilovers to their T6.1 Sportline - T32?

Or even SoLows with THQ GT-T, LV-R front bumpers?

Ideally I am looking to get my arches sitting just on the tyre line with 20’s.

My plan was to use the recommended 255/35 front & 275/35 rear tyres with SoLow lows set at their highest.

My only worry is front bumper clearance on the likes of speed bumps (the square type mostly), sharp ramps (eg. Multi storey car parks) and driveways etc. Along with possible cill/side bar issues again in multi storey car parks etc seeing as I’m a little further stretched out with a LWB.

If you have met the above criteria I would love to hear your feedback.

Even better if you can share a photo of your van and a little info -

Which SoLow coilovers?
Set at High/Mid/Low?
Tyre sizes?

Many thanks

Hang on in there mate. I’m in the same boat as you. Still on standard Sportline Suspension but after nearly 3 years still need to lower (just for looks obviously).
Don’t wanna go air ride but scared of bottoming out the front lip on the splitter.
My splitter just clears kerbs as it is without lowering.

Any input from you guys would be much appreciated.

Technically not the answer your looking for but mines on komforts and running 20s around 60-70mm drop I believe ( was done before I purchased) no problems with front splitter been in many multi storeys and no issues with speed bumps

I used to run 225/55/17 on Solow's at their highest setting. I have no splitter but the underside / subframe behind the front wheels would often scrape as I went down the back of some speed bumps.

According to 'Will they Fit", your front tyres will only give you about 2mm more height than I had so that might be worth considering, regardless of any splitter concerns.

My Sportline is lowered approx 75 mm the clearance to the road on the front lower splitter is 175 mm i run 245 45 20 tyres which are 2 inches bigger in diameter that what you are planning , This means you would only have 150mm clearance on the splitter ,
Things to note

The LVR splitter is lower than the sportline and
The tyres sizes you mentioned are Half an inch smaller on the front . If your van is a 4 motion this isnt a good thing /

Research a bit more regarding the Coil overs there are some great options nowadays , If you need more info please give us a call

You will be fine over pretty much all obstacles - We run our demo with this front bumper really low on air with no issues
