Heading Pembrokeshire for the last week of June.
Will spend at least a couple of days at St David's probably on the Porth Clais farm site.
Any must do locations to vidit, campsites or overnight parking spots for the rest of the week?
Any advice is very welcome.

Let me firstly say that we hate big campsites but there is a Haven site in Tenby which is massive but it is directly on the beach and a nice 10minute walk on the sand into the town. If you have kids then I guess it would suit, if like us you are retired then just ignore all the statics/clubhouse and head directly to the beach and the town. Loads to do and the campsite facilities are really quite good. Just avoid the bingo haha

Thanks
Got one kid 14 years old but she's with her dad so it's just two 45 year olds on the trip.
Thanks for the suggestion. Not retired yet but very keen to practice!

Tenby is lovely and you can get boat trips which are fun, you could head north to Newport, some good walks around there, a couple of sites one in the town itself and another just outside.

Lastly, when we go we don’t stay at StDavids but in Solva, nice pub a mile down the road and we walk into St.Davids along the coastal footpath, it’s a long walk but the views.......and your youngsters so if we can do it.....

Used to work at RAF Brawdy and have been down a few times in recent years. Narberth is a nice little town with a great campsite at a what used to be a pub - The Dingle Inn.

Pendine Sands, Pembury Park, Amroth have great beaches and nice for ambling about.

:)

Just seen this post. We're thinking of heading that way at some point too. Have a couple of friends en-route to say hi to. We know nothing of the area so have been looking to travel that way. We've struggled finding anywhere online we'd like to stay at so thanks for the info!! We'll check out the advice given and work it all out from there! Flashollie you'll have to let us know how you get on! Enjoy!!

When we first considered a van conversion we hired a campervan and went to St Davids.
Can't remember the name of the campsite but we were able to walk into St David's in 10 mins.
Get the little coastal Hopper bus and some great walks around the area.
Have a great time.

Best ice cream in Wales in St Davids.

Same,,, cheers buddy YOURS LOOKING SWEET TOO

Thanks, we’ve only just got her, our first van, ideal for what we need.

Just want to pimp her up a bit, get some side rails and the back carpeted.

Have been reading the forum about lowering too, is it just for aesthetics or does it give you a better ride?

Just back from Pembrokeshire. Stayed on the Freshwater East Caravan and Motorhome Club site. Stones throw from a sandy dog friendly beach. Fantastic. Loads of VDubs on site too. Though if you just fancy a visit carpark is almost on very accessible flat path to beach. Hope that helps someone.... Cheers
