Parking Sensors And Bike Rack

Have searched threads and various info touching on my query.

If you put a towbar bike rack ie Thule tilting..... do the parking sensors keep beeping or
do they ignore the rack and bikes?

Yes if you have the correct wiring loom for the electrics, amongst other things it disables the reverse sensors when the rack is connected. If you only have a bypass relay then you’ll have to disable the sensors manually.

If wired up properly the van sees the bike rack the same as a trailer

Its a dealer fitted removable towbar and electrics so should be good.
