Make sure you fit new O rings and be sure they are fitted correctly without trapping them

I got a Mahle Intercooler from Euro Car parts last year when I done mine. That also has the straps on it. I guess the straps are there for expansion and strength.

All fitted, test drive went fine, mpg seems to have improved as promised. Thanks all for the advice! Will let you know whether it falls apart without the straps!
