No these are not special active . it simply wouldn't work at the low ride heights this kit is designed to run. they will of course look similar as the casing is the same

I know they're not the same is the ride similar?
if you set the height the same as yours the ride will be good but you cant get the benefit of the auto adjust because they dont have the feature , , if you go to the low settings then it wont be as good because the travel is too little . In ,my opinion though it will be better than B14 because of the dual tube technology

The Comfort Coilovers have been made especially for Twin Monotube Projekt Germany. So although they may look similar, they are indeed not the same. Open and close lengths are very similar to the Bilstein B14's so these are 100% designed for a lowered ride.
Additionally as I'm sure you have already spotted they have ride height adjustment front and rear as per your standard coilovers of 40-70mm and adjustable dampening. Paired with the exceptional Eibach Comfort springs these are a very nice kit designed to offer the best ride possible.
2 year warranty on the dampers and 5 year warranty on the springs.

Damping adjustment is straightforward enough. This needs to be done pre install though.
Ride height adjustment is also very simple. Two lock ring adjusters. Setting the height adjusters is best pre install, although the fronts can be adjusted in situ once fitted if required. Rear adjusters are the same as B14's and the Eibach adjustable springs. The adjuster cup sits at the top of the spring, so will need to be removed if adjustment is required which is easy to do.
Instructions are available on this although we recommend getting these coilovers fitted by a suspension expert. We are currently working on our recognised suppliers who can fit these new comfort coilovers for you. Or if you fancy a trip to Cornwall then we of course can also fit them for you. Are they KONI dampers I see. I used to have SPAX on my Minis as they were a lot easier to adjust. Out of interest what makes them different to the B14 setup other that the damper. I've sold mine but I idd feel it needed somthing to stop the dam roll they suffer from

Eibach make some of the finest suspension springs in the world. The Eibach springs don't suffer from spring sag over time like other manufactures and also are much more durable. These Comfort springs will harmonise perfectly with the koni dampers and offer a reduction in the body roll and pitch under braking whilst maintaining unrivalled comfort.

However, in short the dampers can be adjusted by the customer or fitter themselves prior to the install. ie before they are bolted on.
The base setting is pre set at the most comfortable setting out of the box.

Thought we'd share some feedback from one of our happy customers on the very first comfort coilers (Twin-Adjust-Projekt-Sensitiv) fitted in the UK.

so if I understand correctly, these can be lowered 70mm and at the same time improve the comfort and handling?
when lowered to the max would these give a noticeably better ride than B14 adjusted to the same level?
currently getting sport line springs fitted with my camper conversion as a stop gap solution as I can’t bear to have the standard suspension but after reading how harsh this setup will be (and the limited lowering they give) I’m keen to get an alternative lined up ASAP!
these look like they may soon be on my (long) shopping list!

I have a T6.1 T30 Highline DSG LWB coming at the end of the month and have a couple of questions.
1, it's a work van and will have a constant half load with full load every now and then, im planning on running it at a fairly sensible 40/50mm drop so will the setup deal with this?
2, do you have any approved dealers for fitting around Manchester? i don't mind travelling a couple of hours.

Yes these kits will offer a lot more comfort at 40 to 70 mm compared to similar Sleeve over kits . The shocks are the important things and I have worked with KONI shocks for 20 years so have a lot of experience on the set ups

You can fit KONI shocks with the Eibach sport springs if you want to optimise the vans performance £595.00 a set ( they will be pre adjusted to suit your van and requirements )

Possibly depends on what sort of weights are in your full load? Is it over the rear load limit rating of 1,060kg?
These coilovers work perfectly well on a factory California without any issues and especially at the sort of ride heights you've suggested so I don't foresee any potential issues at all.
We do have a couple of dealer options. CRS performance who are on here and also Mersey Speed.

Loads would be within the load rating for the van, usually its half loaded with tools fittings racking etc.. but every now and again I need to transport a sectional GRP water tank which would put it somewhere near the load limit.
I would appreciate any contact details so I can get some fitted prices.
