Hi I am on my 2nd night in it in France in -10c. It’s great but has a couple of downsides. But I am still learning.

The supplied battery was the 1st to go. Just about lasted a night when not on hook up.

2 badly placed USB A so I’ll need to do something about that. No 12v plug sockets in the living area. But 7 x 13a sockets. The Germans fitted them all the wrong way round so you could not get a plug into them. Dealer & I moved them around.

Loads of storage. And I mean a lot. The internal lighting system and shower are just exceptional. Heating and hot water is very good. Toilet cramped yet to find a way to use it with the door closed.

Fridge is large.

The drive out was good but MPG is 26-28 at 70mph

Tragic.
We are in Toremolinos until Wednesday then visiting friends in Mijas for a couple of days. Still gorgeous weather here today.
Not going home until 4th March.

Had a great time. Van was excellent and very toasty (too toasty actually) in -12c. Had to turn the heating down.

I need your heater! Was 1° smorn in Ligueil and the duvet thief had robbed me while I was asleep!!

I have one. Done 15000 miles in it in 15 months.

The supplied 85 ah AGM is useless. Lasts less than a day. I put in a 100ah Lithium but that also did not cut it. It’s a power hungry beast so I fitted a 230ah Fogstar underseat which fits great under the rear bench seat.

The EHU charger is not great it only gives you up to 15a so that is getting swapped out.

Also fitted a 120w solar which is the biggest you can fit on the roof.

Changed out the Truma control panel for a newer Bluetooth version. Set the heating from my bed.

I also fitted a rear view camera that sits on the existing rearview mirror. that was a game changer cos I could finally see behind me.

Also be aware VW will not give you either a service pack or an extended warranty.
