Mk6 Golf, Retrofit Cruise with Carista?

Does anyone know if I can enable cruise using carista once I fit the stalk?

I have the right wires for it all to work just wondering if I can do it all DIY without VCDS..

Carista won’t be able to do it I’m afraid, only good for resets, diagnostics and altering factory settings such as window closing, folding mirrors,etc

You need to check which Steering Wheel control module you have as not all of them can have cruise control activated.

If carista can do long coding then yes, it can activate Cruise but VCDS can do this for sure.

Module is fine. I think I will just fit it all in and get someone local to make the adaptation.
