Mfd Turn , Directions

I have used my iPhone previously as a sat nav and the van MFD display was showing the direction when approaching turns .
I didn’t expect it to automatically do this so I was pleased .

But now it won’t do it anymore, I haven’t changed anything.
Any ideas why it’s not doing it . Definitely phone and head unit are connected via Bluetooth. Factory head unit , nov Nav obviously.

Any advice appreciated

Yes normally Bluetooth. Have plugged it in to dash front usb aswell to keep it charged .

Which model van and head unit do you have?

It’s highline Kombi, 2016 not sure what the model headunit is . The one without NAV !

I am not sure there is any way to see turn directions on the mfd from your phone.
Are you sure you didn’t see that on a demonstrator with the discover media unit?

Or were you using CarPlay with usb connected?

What nav app?
