Audio Head Unit. Can I change it myself?

Hi all. I have the factory fitted standard Audio Unit/SAT NAV and I've never liked it. The Sat NAV is awful to control (especially postcode input) and often takes me places I don't want to go! Also I have an iPhone and would like to get some apple play options.

So, can I purchase my own Audio/Sat nav unit? Would it be an easy swap that I can do myself? Do you have any links to videos on this subject?

If it's a T6 with discover media I can unlock that so it can have CarPlay
