No, all good, yes completely hidden. Worth updating the firmware as well.

So I drove to Oxford from Shropshire and my GPS was all over the place. Disconnected my phone and ran on my phone; no issues.

I then moved my GPS antenna which was inside the dash onto the top near the NS A pillar.

It was pin perfect all the way home. I’ve not updated any firmware yet. But all good now.

Hi had the same problem! With the same head unit- any one that has this issue move the gps up passengers side pillar, this post was very helpful

Passenger b pillar is fine , where is it now ?

Yeah it was above the head unit, it’s now on the b pillar now which it’s working fine
