Lithium LifePo4 12v Batteries - Time For An Upgrade?

Mine lives under the drivers seat so ill probably have to stick to a 100Ah battery.
The Renogy 100Ah does look very tempting so will probably go with that one if people have good experiences with them.
You can get larger capacity lithium batteries that fit under seat. Believe Fogstar and Roamer both sell 230Ah batteries that fit.

I've got the Roamer 230Ah under the driver's seat like others on here and it's been enough to keep us off hook up power even though many of the mainstream campsites don't seem to offer EHU free pitches without putting you among the tent community.

I've got the Roamer 230Ah too, but the upright version, housed in the space under the tambour wardrobe around the rear wheel arch in the back. With decent solar on the lid there is no need to plug the EHU in, but if it's there, I do! If it's free, it's for me!

I do like the idea of running a bigger battery in the storage area by the wheel arch but I don't think I'll need a huge amount of battery capacity, as I only run led lights, fridge and diesel heater. Plus I can always buy another 100Ah battery and run it in parallel if I need the extra capacity I guess.

If you have solar 100Ah is probably enough.... but I remember Busfest 3 years ago, grey and miserable! My old 200Ah battery was down to 15% after 3 days... you can never have too many Ah's!

I have no solar 😂🤦🏽‍♂️. Really wish I installed one before converting the van as will have to take all the units out to feed the wires for it now 😫.

When my second flexi panel packed up, I used a Renogy 220 watt foldable suitcase style panel, which did the job nicely until I had my forever rigid panel installed. Not such a difficult job for the guys that fitted the rigid one, especially as the Mppt was in the rear quarter below decks!

You're right there Wayne we have 300 ah lithium in our van with 200 watt renogy solar panel, 3000 watt inverter, 100 ah lithium in our trailer with 200 watt ecoworthy solar panel and 1000 inverter. Plus Jackery 1000 and another 200 watt of portable solar panels.
