Leisure Battery Fastener Question .

Good evening everyone ...Quick question . The converters didn't bother putting a fastener on my leisure battery under the drivers seat ....thought it was a legal requirement for MOT, or is this common practise .
Does not look like it moves, but on a sudden surge might well lift a bit .
I could fit a securing bracket as there is a convenient small hole in the seat frame where one could fit a L shaped bracket .
