Hoping for some family camping trips this summer with the little one


Just ordered a Topdon JS3000 as we’ve had to jump start the van after barely using it since last year. Wouldn’t want to get stuck anywhere not being able to start the van

I’ve booked the van in with Inde Tech in MK next week. Seen good reviews and others on here have been there too. Reasonable price for service & MOT. Fingers crossed no issues

Van passed MOT and service complete. A few advisories and small leak of steering fluid which I’ve suspected before - to be investigated at a later date.

Insurance renewal a bit up on last year, but I don’t have time (or inclination) to search around.

Now to search the forum for sleeping situation with 3 month old baby + medium sized dog..

Expensive time of year came around again:

£539 insurance
£360 tax
£282 Replace wheel speed sensor & MOT

I did attempt to have a look at the wheel speed sensor myself. Jacked up the van, and then remembered I should probably loosen the nuts first, only to not be able to budge them even a tiny bit.

They are tightened to 180Nm so no chance with the little wheel brace. You need a big breaker bar and a decent socket.
And a torque wrench to tighten them back up correctly too.

Just read this thread whilst sitting on a lounger in Malta sipping the local Cisk Maltese beer. Absolutely fantastic!
Went to Valletta today but this was just as good!
