@Tony Abbott. What vehicle is that for please (ie. Panel Van or Camper or??? etc.)?
Over 1 million uninsured drivers now in the UK and the government setting up the motor insurance task force is hopefully having an effect.I sense a more realistic stance from insurers this year, I may be wrong. My EV is now sub 250 quid for the year on renewel, down 120 beer tokens.
Same price with commuting added. Fair enough!Mine is down from £960 last year to £660 this year with no commuting and 10% discount. Waiting to hear back about quote including commuting
I can never fathom the pricing.Same price with commuting added. Fair enough!
Me too. And with the camper, a car and a motorbike it happens too often.I reeeeaaally hate insurance time![]()
i did a spot of tyre kicking on quotes last week and a quote from a more expensive company last year is 20% down. So it's promising at least.I sense a more realistic stance from insurers this year, I may be wrong. My EV is now sub 250 quid for the year on renewel, down 120 beer tokens.
Make a cup of tea and hit the phone is my recommendation. Insurers and brokers defy logic, and the known laws of physics and commerce are stretched beyond credulity between them, so the only way of knowing who will do you a good deal is to hit the blower and ask them. What recommendations do folks have please?
Just make sure you tell them of all the alterations and additions otherwise however much money they take off you they will refuse to pay out should you need them.OK, here we go, it's renewal time for me; I have a T32 DSG 2022 SWB that has been converted from PV to Kombi with windows, carpeted in the back with lights, USB, etc. VW 18" option wheels, updated front bumper and a leisure battery (it's not a camper). I commute to work once a week, it is garaged at night, I do approx. 5000 miles per year and only use for social/leisure apart from the once a week commute. What recommendations do folks have please?
Do the leg work and ring around. What recommendations do folks have please?
