Had key and fob stolen, so have cleared the old key info from the van and had 2 new fobs reprogrammed - all works fine - have replaced the door lock and key with new. Question is can I simply replace the ignition barrel using the paper clip to release, or will this activate the steering deadlock, does the lock barrel have any interface with the transponder in the fob?
