Had an over the air update today. Wow got a user manual on the screen now. It’s under help if you need it.
I also had a months free adaptive cruse control and voice control but ran out today. They want £8.95 a month for ACC and £6 for voice . I wouldn’t give the 10p for the voice as does nothing but would like to keep ACC. Problem is I will only use it one or twice a month on a 120 round trip on the Motorway I do to one of are care homes. I think I will hold off for now as if people don’t take up the offer they could drop the price.
we have a Ducati dealer down the road from me and they have a buzz 5 seater in white with red around the very bottom and bumper with the name in it . I will see if I can get a photo when passing next. I was thinking of copying with any writing.

Hey @Keeff, I really value the ACC on my T6, even use it in the 20mph local roads. I’d not heard of a subscription model though, you don’t just add it when it’s built? That sounds like a lot of money over the life of the vehicle!

I'm sure mine has ACC as standard on a 2024 Commerce Plus model? Still not got around to even half looking at user manual due to other things to do here..............................
Having my charger fitted this Thursday at my unit and the guy who's doing it got his new Buzz last Friday so hopefully I'll have a good chat with him when his here for a few hours as I know he is up to date on everything VW Electric.

Mine is only a commerce not the plus. It only has cruse control as standard but ACC was the only thing I wanted from the plus model. Had to keep to a budget.
I did order a new one but was 7 months so found this canceled order and grabbed it.
I had all I needed two seats and tail gate in white. It also had an all around light pack and rear light led bar .
when I got home and put it in reverse I found the rear camera as well.
I can download Sat Nav for about £600 but use TomTom go on CarPlay but only pay monthly for ACC.
Would be happy to pay about £300 one off payment .
I will take a photo and post as it now looks like a plus with the wheels and has the black gloss folding mirrors, dynamic rear lights with light bar .Even has lights in mirrors but they don’t switch on ACC.
Been told today only VW screen available in uk but they are on back order without a date. So look after you windscreen.

I'm a bit torn on the whole subscription thing. On one hand I'm wary as it's a way for continuing to have to pay (and I bet cost prices don't come down)

On the other hand as someone who has had a lifetime of buying second hand and having to live with the choices made by the first owner I like the idea I can have the options without having to take the vehicle to a specialist who will charge me £100s for parts and coding and then have all the work undone whenever the dealer updates the software.

The thing is a vehicle lasts 10-15 years and has something like 3 or 4 owners and the whole subscription discussion only ever seems to think about the 1st owner.

I think on balance it can be a good thing, after all if there is ongoing revenue there is a reason to keep improving the software, but I think there should be some regulation of it. For instance there should always be an option to buy outright for any owner (not just the first) and there should be a requirement to unlock any feature where they decide to withdraw the authorisation side (so your features don't vanish when they decide they can't afford to run the servers anymore)

It took close to 3 months to get a genuine windscreen for my T6.1.

I have picked up so many windscreen chips on the concrete section of the M25 that I've started to breathe nervously when driving that section in the Buzz. The second day of driving the T6.1 with its new screen I heard a massive stone hit the windscreen, fortunately only chipped the outer coating, not a full bullseye chip.

It's one thread out of many hundreds of threads, accurately titled so that anybody not interested can ignore it.
Except I thought I joined a forum that focused on VW T6/T6.1 models, but then I am a pedant.

Hi All - Quick question, has anybody here fitted an arm rest onto the drivers seat in their buzz cargo? Been talking to the VW Main dealer and they say the Buzz People carrier ones should be the same fitment (£260 each) but they are not sure if the hole you can feel on the side of the seat backrest has a 'treaded insert' fitted or not?
Any help would be appreciated as its the only thing I'm missing off my T6 !

Might be worth giving Bognor Motors a call, they retrimmed the seats in mine (mine came with armrests from the factory) they'll know for sure and are a good bunch so probbaly won't mind advising.

I emailed idkampers as they sell as a kit But not cheap. They sent back photo of seat with a rubber stopper in it but mine does not have this .
If you do it’s an easy job according to them.
My factory order I cancelled had them as very cheap to factory spec.
If anyone can find how to fit without the stopper please add to post .

Must just say I have now sold my t6 but would love to keep posting if we could have a buzz section .I am sure some members will change over or own both and when I was ordering mine found it hard to find much info.
If I can help a member on here I will happy to.
Will t7 owners be allowed.

Had a look on the IDkampers site but can't see anything relating to arm rests other than covers for them when buying seat covers?

I've got the 2+1 seats in mine again without this rubber stopper?
You can definitely feel where the hole is already there in the foam down the side of the seat back and there is room for the armrest to fit against the side of the double passenger seat? Has anybody got the twin passenger seat in the Cargo version with arm rests fitted to the drivers seat then? I probably think all the seats are made the same with the insert fitted ready for armrests if specified but my VW dealer can't confirm this.

Just seen this on youtube - If you go to the 7.30min - 8 min segment he says about the previous owner fitting this armrest - Interesting!
The whole video is also worth a watch if you are considering an ID Buzz for sure.
