The VW Driveway Fleet...

Where have you relocated the washer bottle to?

The washer bottle is actually in 2 parts, the top part is in the engine bay and the other half is in the drivers wheel arch.
The top part just pulls out and is replaced by a silicone tube and small billet aluminium canister that you can see to the left side of the radiator.

Very nice, I was looking at them before I got my R.
Any mod's planned?
It’s had an OPF back Magnex exhaust (with rear box delete) and a panel filter. I do like your lower engine cover though, so I think I’ll look for one of those.

Ooh, I bet that sounds nice.
Luckily my R is an 18 reg, so just before the OPF was introduced.
I've got a Scorpion valved cat-back but I've coded both valves permanently open with OBDeleven, it sounds nice but not asbo loud.

As i spotted this new section, i thought it deserved a post!

In a bizarre turn of events, i find myself with a fleet almost exclusively of VW vehicles currently even though i'm not particularly a VW fanboy.

It started with my Golf mk7.5...i bought this one with a few hundred miles on it. After trying various makes over the years, we always said a the golf i'd previously owned years ago was one of the best allrounders id owned - so i got another one - this one!.

A few months after getting this one, my other half decided she wanted a car change...initially she was looking for an Audi A1, however for the money we found we could get a newer Polo GTI cheaper, with less miles on...so we bit the bullet and doubled up the VW driveway.

we made a milestone on this one today...I've been consdering a replacment a year or so now, but cant find anything that will do the job better so it just keeps on plodding on eating up the miles :)
