First we need to decide where we are going to post
If you are a new member then you may wish to start with a hello type thread and this can be done in the new members area near the top of the forum homepage as labelled below
If you are after advice or have a specific question you would like to ask then scroll down and choose the section that best fits your question or query, posting in the most relevant section will also help you get the best responses.
For the purpose of this guide we are going to make a post in the 'General VW T6 Chat' section
When we enter a topic area we see the screen below, we have two options now to start a thread
1 We can start typing directly into the thread title box indicated below and create a thread directly from this page, or
2 We can click the 'post thread' button to take us to the full thread creation page which gives us a few extra options
So here is the next page where we create our new thread, all we need to do is
A Give it a title
B Ask a question/type some content
C Upload any pictures or files to go in the post (this step is optional)
D Hit the 'post thread' button
