Hi I've just got back from France and have family stuff to do this weekend. Can I give you a call Monday? I'll get the van on some flat ground and take some measurements then.
You certainly can buddy, whenever is convenient 07823449588Hi I've just got back from France and have family stuff to do this weekend. Can I give you a call Monday? I'll get the van on some flat ground and take some measurements then.
Solow lows. Full height on 20sHi, i had bilstein B14 on there lowest setting on my previous t5.1 on 245/45/19 wheels.
Im now in a T6.1 with eibach 50mm lowing springs but want to go lower on 20s - im thinking Solow Lows on their highest setting for better comfort. Is that a wise idea?
would love to see another van on the same Lows and set at max height on 20's before i purchase - anyone help?
Ta

looks great, what tyres sizes you running?
I did exactly that. This is on the highest setting on the back the. The fronts set to match. It rides amazing and better than my dad's van who is on b14s on the lowest settingHi all, I have the Solow NXTs on a completed camper, T30. Constant weight is about 2500kg of the 3000kg GVM. When first installed, it was set at the minimum 40mm drop but still raked (rear sat higher). I found it too low and got a 20mm increase all round. When the camper was completed, I had the front raised further to level the van (as seen on a THQ video). The suspension place here (Australia) said raising the front had "increased(?) the spring rate therefore you'd feel the bumps more" and due to the T6.1 panel design, the gap from top of tyre to the guard was greater than the rear tyre gap.
Is that normal (for those that have levelled their vans) for it to give the illusion that the front is sitting higher when its not?
And yes, I do now feel the bumps more, sometimes it can feel a bit bouncy... avoidable? normal?
My limited understanding of raising the NXTs with that tool, I see you're reducing the space the spring has to operate in between the collar and top mount, therefore "squashing" the spring and making it firmer...

Not always the case. I'm on a 40 profile and get no rubbing.Just watch your tyre profile….anything higher than 35s will give you rubbing on the front on dips/bumps in the road
Absolutely, burn through rear tyres the inners just wear so fastWould recommend adjustable rear bushes tho. The slight camber looks great but replacing tyres Every 7k miles got boring fast.
