Help - which heater to get Eberspacher D2L S2 or Webasto At2000?

Hi, we're new to this and I'm afraid I couldn't find a thread comparing the 2 heaters.

We are converting a VW T6.1.

I've seen that the new D2L is 90% quieter than the previous D2 model but how does it compare to the Webasto?

We are also going to be using a Webasto deisel hob - so is there an advantage to doing both of them Webasto?

Any help or advice is much appreciated?

Thanks

Sorry to chuck in yet more options, but if you’re having a diesel hob anyway you might want to consider a Wallas XC Duo which is a hob that also functions as a heater.

We did look at that but my husband doesn't like the way it sits proud on the worktop - he prefers the flush finish. It was something we considered at the start. Do you have one? Would you recommend it?

I don't have one. I believe it's generally decent, but possibly doesn't have the same level of control (particularly at low-level heat) as a dedicated heater from what I've read on previous threads here. I just thought I'd mention it as you were talking about diesel hobs, if you've already discounted it as an option that's fine!

I'm sure someone else will be along soon who will be able to comment on your original webasto vs eberspacher question...
