I think it’s well documented that the engine is doomed unless you install it.
Once it’s installed, there needs to be two further oil changes in quick succession, say 2000 mile intervals, then take another sample after a further 2000 miles.
Make sure the data entered is 100% accurate.
If you know there is already a loss of compression or excessive alum / iron content then there’s a good chance it’s a waste of time. That’s why the kit needs to be in place before there’s an issue.
