H&r 50mm springs

Has anyone fitted the h&r 50mm lowering springs ? They look ok and cheaper than the eibach option
Yes Berger, I fitted front & back to my T6 2017 Highline a few weeks ago. Yes they are very reasonably priced & fairly easy to fit. I put them on the existing shockers & took a chance they would take the reduction in height ( only 70k miles ) & all went well. I did share on the forum also a few weeks ago, & there was some fears thrown up, but honestly the van looks less Leggy than before & the ride is as good as before.
If you need more advice, let me know !!

Fitted new plastic/composite bottom pads whilst at it, & put tippex marks on for correct lining up. Finish looked very good. No instructions for guidance at all. Typical !

I'm also considering just springs on my van, mainly due to costs of full coil over setups.
It's a LWB T32 full camper on 20's, essentially don't mind the ride at the moment, but too much body roll but don't really bother me, just want it lower!

Hi Fishinbrine, yes its a bit of minefield with suspension it seems & the terminology seems misleading also eg why call them coil overs when they are a complete suspension kit with shocker's ! Vanstyle took the vin number when i said i wanted to drop mine approx 50mm & the sales guy said, its the heavy duty ones for that model (swb) kombi standard with 17" wheels. I thought for that money what the heck & as I've said previously, the back springs were broke anyway ! If yours is lwb & full camper, Id imagine its adds a fair bit of extra weight & will sit a bit higher on 20's so the weight is higher also; thats probably causing the roll methinks. I rebuilt an old classic Jaguar with leaf springs on the back & torshion bar on the front, with big Girling shockers that'd seen better days, & found a guy who produced adjustable pressure dampers that classic racers used. Its a plastic knob (needle valve) that has 13 notches giving soft/mid/hard damping & worked a treat. I cant work out if these " coil over jobbies" have that variation, because if you choose wrong, what then. Good luck mate !!
