We purchased our 2018 kombi 2 years ago, and everything to date has indicated it's the 150bhp. However, today I found on Car Check that it suggests it's the bigger engine (201/204bhp).

Is there any indication on the engine itself that will confirm whether it is the 150bhp or 204bhp. I'd be incredibly surprised if it's anything other than 150bhp.

Perhaps others with a 150bhp, could put there reg in to see.

Yeah, main thing is when you open the bonnet, there will be alloy pipework behind the charge cooler and a red 'charge cooler' hose at the rear of the charge cooler itself.

There will also be a row of three vacuum solenoids attached to the bulkhead above the chargcooler area.

Did you pay for that report? A free check returns hardly any details for my van - just Make, Model, Colour & YoM.

No, I got all that data for free - which perhaps bring's into question it's validity!

Hmm - I have a 150bhp DSG and it shows a CO2 Label K, which seems a bit odd as it shows yours as a 201bhp DSG with a CO2 Label G. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's taken me over a year, but I now understand where your user name evolved Si! As for ar check I only get the basic stuff the same as @Bav . No amount of tappage gets me your impressive table of delight!

A very easy way to decide exactly which engine is simply the engine code. Sticker on cam cover, sticker under steering wheel, sticker in front cover of owners handbook.
The 150 is CXHA or if it's the balancer shaft variant, CXFA

Could it be that the place you bought it from saw that it was a 150Kw variant and assumed that it was therefore 150bhp?

That sounds highly plausible, but does a 150bhp variant really have higher CO2 emissions than a bi-turbo (as implied by my results)?

Copy n paste job that is! Should we have a thread on what preset emoji's we need? Little bit of sick emoji for Transit mentions etc...
Suspect the forum is a boilerplate solution with limited options to configure and extend.

So what's the engine code of the OP's van?
3rd party websites are notoriously inaccurate, so can't be relied on.

Evening all, I’ve just done a check on ours and the information is wrong, ours is also a 2018 Kombi (Trendline) T32 should be 150bhp with DSG, the report says it’s a Highline T32 3 seater van with DSG and 201bhp.

So a little confused.
