Because last time we kept @Mick awake at 2am using the electric airpump to blow it back up . . . . In the morning he asked why we was doing hoovering......in a tent......at 2am....

After the huge success of the recent Brook Meadow weekend at Sibbertoft in Leicestershire, I've decided to do another one on the cancelled Busfest weekend, at the same location.

This will initially be open to 40 members on the pretence that I might add more if demand calls for it.

The Forumfest weekend will be 10-11-12-13 of September.

Just so everyone knows, I can only do Thursday and Friday eve this time. My daughter is moving to Manchester Uni on the Saturday and because of the current Covid measures, they are only allowing students to access their new flats within the halls of residence in timed slots and she could only get a Saturday.
I know I should be there all weekend as I arranged everything, but there are several members that went last time and will be happy to assist if anyone needs anything. This also means my hookup will be available from Saturday morning.
I apologies for this and it couldn't be helped as much as we tried to move things around with her Uni, but I will try and get back in the evening on the Saturday if I can.

Right ladies and gents. We are less than a week away from the next forum weekend and I need to make sure that anyone reading this that isn't on the RSVP list above, but wants to come, must get your name down now. I have to give final numbers on Monday and they need to be pretty much spot on, bar 1 or 2 flexibility. This is a busy weekend for the site and they have a list of normal camper people that want to book, so I need to give the final numbers so they know what they have left to allow for other people outside our group.

I'm aware that there are several other friends and family that are coming from outside this forum, and that should equate to 5 extra pitches.

I will be using the number on the RSVP at the top of this thread on Monday as my final numbers, plus the others i'm aware of, which currently equates to 46 units.

The site have agreed to keep the same price as we had last time, which was £20 per night flat rate. No charging for 'extras' dog, kids awning etc. Those using electric will be charged £24 per night. I know the site aren't the best at replying to emails, but those that have a confirmed electric pitch are fine, those that want electric but haven't had a reply, we will do our best to get you hooked up.

The site staff are fantastic as we know, but the lack of communication makes my life much harder whilst trying to deal with a very busy day to day business, customers, emails etc, so I need to look at a different way to streamline next years Forumfest logistics, and yes there will be at least 2 of these weekends organised by me for 2021.

Anyway, i'm sure it will all work out just fine next weekend as it did last time, but those final numbers are important please people.
