fan & stop start fault

Hi
have a fault with my van
fan goes on 100% cold or warm
and fault with stop start every time i start van
EML on dash can't diagnose prob
changes couple sensors still no joy

Do you have a scan tool - preferably VW specific like VCDS, OBDeleven etc?

no i haven't it's been plugged in said fault on fan sensor lower one changed but no difference engine management light on as well but guess that is on until fault is found
been tolled could be wiring prob in loom but no one is 100% where to go with this prob

When did the stop start fault start? Did this coincide with the fans staying on? Were there any faults relating to stop start?
