Deep plastic steps without light?

I have trawled the threads but hadn't registered that the Kombi step was that size. If it's 10mm less than the Caravelle step, then it should be spot on for me. I'll find one for sale and check it out. Cheers.

Have just measured the height from the metal floor up to the top of my ply and its 110mm. So it looks like the Caravelle is what I need. Any one know where the best price for one of these would be?

Theres a seller on ebay that sells the nice ones with the metal insert and the light included for about £75, think its north west transporters,hope this helps

My T6.1 panel van has been delivered with a satin black side step (OEM nr 7H0 863 725 T). Now I'd like to insulate the floor for freezing conditions. Therefore I'd like to buy myself the deepest side step possible. (+40mm?) Preferable plain vanilla: satin black, no light and no metal strips.

What should I buy?

The deepest step is from a Caravelle. The part number will start 7E5. All of these come with a light.

Someone might be along to correct me later but I think all the OEM deep steps will have lights as they are Caravelle or passenger van

Thanks. I've compared it to my old step which sat on the metal floor and the Caravelle step looks about 30mm higher. That does assume that the underside of the step is the same (about 15mm), but it’s got to be close to allow the sidewall fasteners to fit. Unfortunately, that makes the Caravelle step overall dimension from the van’s metal step to the top of the flooring approx 110mm which is 10mm too much for me.

Unless there’s another alternative, I guess I’ll have to try to make the Vanstyle one fit by raising it up by a few mm and/or cutting down the ply thickness at the edge.

Hi. Just converting my T6 and got this same issue. With insulation mine is 100mm like yours. Did you manage to get something to fit? TIA
