Made a start on the hookup today. Got the mini consumer unit and the EHU plug fitted under the bonnet. I've brought a Victron blue smart 3 output charger but upon inspection I can't control the outputs on the app like I thought I would be able to. My idea was to connect it to the starter and leisure battery and charge the starter as and when I needed to. Not all the time. I can't do this so I'm sending it back and getting a 4a charger for the starter and a 15a for the leisure battery. I'll just add another RCBO into the consumer unit.
A little more work on the hookup today. I’ve sent the original charger back. It was a 30a 3 output Victron charger. My original idea was to use it to charge my leisure battery and should I require it the starter battery too. I assumed that I’d be able to control the outputs using the Victron app. You can’t. Also, any batteries connected to it have to be the same type, you can’t charge an AGM starter and a lithium leisure battery. So I’ve brought 2 separate chargers a 4a and 15a Victron bluesmart IP65.
These have a much higher IP rating so I’m happy to fit these under the bonnet.
The 4 amp is for the starter, it’s smaller than the 15a and tucks nicely behind the battery.
I’ve fitted the leisure battery charger under the scuttle panel, there is loads of room under there and because the charger is IP65 rated, it doesn’t matter if it gets wet.
There is an earth point under the scuttle so I’ve connected the -ve outputs of both chargers to this and also added an earth bond from the consumer unit.
Because I now have two chargers I’ve added another breaker so I can switch them on independently.
I’ve drilled another hole into the van as the plenum grommet is full with the drain from the Hilo. The +ve for the leisure charger is fed through to the inside, ready for me to continue tomorrow..

With a view to not taking the awning with us for short weekends away I've been looking at solutions for storing the fridge in the back of the van. The problem is only an issue when the Mrs is with me and we're sleeping in the big bed 
With the multiflex board in the van you can't lift up the lid on the fridge unless the multiflex board is slid forward around 30cm. Then we loose living space in the van.
The best solution is a slide out draw that will enable me to keep the multiflex right at the back of the van and slide the fridge out to get my beers, win win
It will also be useful for my work tools.

There is another, slightly cheaper one here VW Beach Rear Pull Out Rear Tailgate Drawer but it's a little narrower and doesn't look as well finished to me.
I did check first 
Just have to remove the shopping bag hook, or move the 12v supply to the other side of the van 
Quickly running out of jobs. Today I’ve re fitted the roof centre console a little more tightly and wrapped all the cables going to it in cloth tape. Hopefully this will have stopped the annoying rattle I’d recently acquired. I also took the opportunity to add another relay to one of the switched and connect it back to the fuse box ready for my next major mod. The relay sits in the side of the dash.
While the weather has been nice I’ve also de chromed a set of Bulli badges and removed my side repeaters
It was cheaper than a trailing socket and a plug topThe EHU in the garage is a great idea. I may have to sort one of those.
