Deadlocks / Safelock not working on our T6

So as the title suggests we seem to have no deadlocks on the van! They used to work!! there’s various VCDS tweaks been done while we have had the van just the usual stuff needle sweep etc

We have been through all the long coding helper and cannot see anything untoward!

Any clues?

If I lock the door with one press they used to work now they don’t, they lock but only without deadlocking

It’s a 2016 66 Highline

I had this problem abs as I recall it was to do with me disconnecting the battery.

On connecting the battery I had to reset the click the button once for the windows to go all the way. This solved my deadlocks not working.

I’ll disconnect the battery then see if that makes any difference!

Once you get the leads off the battery touch them together for a few seconds before connecting back to the battery. This is supposed to be a reset of some type.

You need to test all lock microswitches as the safe lock will not work if there is an issue.

Still having trouble with this! Would there be a fuse for the deadlocks? Normal locking is operating fine just the deadlocks! Only other thing I can think of is the region of the van was changed to get the digital speedo active in the MFD could this cause my problem?

After battery disconnect you need to recalibrate windows comfort closing - one touch closing (affects also folding mirrors).
Take the window all the way down then hold the button down for a few seconds then take window all the way up then hold the button up for a few seconds. The same for the other window.​

Can you make two sets of BCM blockmap data?

• A set with ignition OFF (no key in ign lock), all doors closed & unlocked.
• Another set with ignition OFF (no key in ign lock) all doors closed & locked from remote. Need to do fairly quickly because CANbus will shut down in about 60 seconds after locking the van (a wireless mouse would be handy to operate VCDS from outside of the van).

How-to blockmap:

VCDS > Applications > Controller channel map​

- tick/fill as below - click Go to make a set.​

Thanks for this! Im next likely to get hooked up to VcDS on Tuesday or Wednesday so will get it done then in the mean time I’ll disconnect the starter battery! And do as you say with the windows.

The alarm definitely works have set it off plenty when testing to see if the deadlocks work neighbours love me!
