Dash Cam And Battery

I am looking at getting fitted a dash cam, F800 Pro, front and rear. I have a concern that it may drain the battery. This is said due to the fact that my annual mileage is pretty low, <5k, and the van is sat on the driveway two weeks out of 5, due to working away. Does anyone have any advice on this. Van is T6 2018 150.

I've had no issue with my Garmin Dashcam, it's plugged in 24/7 to my main battery and I've got a 4g dongle permanently connected to my leisure battery without any issues.

Many thanks, I am possibly the worst DIY person in the world. Something like this would need to be fitted at the time. I will ask the questions before fitting.

They are great devices, you'll be able to see exactly how your battery is doing almost from the comfort of your armchair if you park close enough.

Just had a look at a few You Tube videos, simples, and gives plenty of info. Even something I could fit. Time to invest.
