Cheaper options maybe available as I made this mod’ some time ago.
I used 2 hinges as one was not long enough, be aware that the trim is not flat so a completely rigid piano hinge will not work too well.
The removable trim at the front of the storage area needs to be removed and be cut to a straight edge to accept the hinge, simple enough.
The hinge is bonded to the trim to avoid screw holes.
Bonding the hinge to the trim creates the only datum for taking measurements for the sheet as the sides of the storage pocket are not straight and have also radiused corners. It took some time to get the fit correct (get your vice as close to the van as possible!)
If you have some patience and are fairly precise with hand tools and taking templates it’s straight forward but not a quick process.
If you are thinking of fitting the Garmin sat nav the ball mount needed considerable modification to allow it to fold under the cover.

what kind of width for the Black acrylic perspex color cut... do you prefer?
Do you prefer Matt or Satin Gloss?

Great info thanks, How did you account for radius curve in the lid? I'd radiates both directions,ie it's a convex shape.
