Changed Hubcaps On Basic Steels, Well Pleased

Spent this avo taking off the supplied hubcaps, cleaning wheels, and fitting black plastic centre hubs. I know they look simple compared to some on the forum but for now the standard steels suit us for bimbling around in our Bilbos conversion(Space model, odd name I know)
The caps came from Needingworth Campers, (good service)they are obv surplus stock,,trouble is I went on their site and saw some very tempting t6s......dammit

I rate the black hub caps. They are what they are. Wheel trims try to make a steel wheel look fancy. Embrace what you have mate!

Yeah cheap and cheerful and look good too. And I have a pile for sale. Sorry cheap plug. But they look good.

Cheers Lukavell, you are right, we have had a couple of 7metre motorhomes before the T6 , which is way more fun and serves as a daily driver/dog car too, lovin it.
Got fed up with the wheel trims when I was faffing about trying to put air in the tyres, and think the black centres look great, they are as you say, what they are, cheers bud

I really wouldn’t knock these covers - I think they look great! Oh, and those “pepper pot” steels are quite sought after too! Best combination in my view

Prefer the steels with the black caps rather than the full face plastic trims. Looks more purposeful.

Agree. The steels with the black cap (or even silver caps), will look way better than full plastic covers. Makes the vehicle look smart.

As in these or these . The silver ones are off a 22 plate van . Yeah there not black but worth an ask.

Black ones mate......just seen a German WSR camper parked up with these on 16inch stock steelies and they look nice

I have a set of black centres, new condition. Changed my T6 for a PVC a year ago ( still miss her) and have the caps still. I’m away at the mo but back in one week, if you are not sorted by then just message me we can sort something to get them to you.
Agree with other posters, the black caps looked great with the steels but when I sold it the buyer wanted the silver plastics.
